Introduction
Onevillage foundation Tanzania (OVF) is a Tanzania Non-profit
corporation affiliated with OVF USA. OVF Tanzania is dedicated
to assisting the oneVillage global initiatives through on
ground support and expertise to promote ICT augmented education
services. This involves the deployment of various community
empowerment applications involving, technology, education,
health education and health monitoring programs.
OVF Tanzania Mission
Emerging ICTs possess enormous potential to improve people’s
lives. OVF Tanzania sees the challenge and opportunity of
realizing this potential and to accelerate the effective use
of ICTs to address the critical community needs and promoting
national, regional and international cooperation. We are devoted
to increase collaboration and access to ICT in under-served
communities through pre-tertiary and tertiary education, technology
education, community empowerment, Health monitoring and Education,
resources accessibility, economic development, facilitate
local content creation and dissemination and building bridges
among digital communities locally and globally.
