was a great event! We had a very prominent session with personalities
from the Ghana Football Association and the Ghana League Clubs
Association and the top hierarchies of the two teams, etc.

OVF G team introduced to Liberty and Heart of Oaks |
Over 2000 people attended the Oct 9th event
at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra. It was a great
event! The event began with a Launch Speech by Kafui Prebbie.
Then we had a very prominent session with personalities from
the Ghana Football Association and the Ghana League Clubs
Association and the top hierarchies of the two teams, etc.
Quite to our surprise however, the attendance which was at
2000 was not as expected. The primary factor accounting for
this was that we had the venue changed from the well-publicized
Liberty Sports Stadium to the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium (both
are in Accra).

We are very excited that the teams have bought
so much into the ideals of the project.
The amount realized which was 700 dollars has
been put in an account and a board of trustees will be constituted
to manage the Sports People That Care/SUFIA Fund. We are also
producing a documentary on the project for future promotion.
