oneVillage Foundation is currently working
with transitplaza to develop, promote and arrange the
financing for Group Rapid Transit Systems (GRT). transitplaza
holds the rights to develop low cost mass transit systems,
with applications throughout the world and the ability
to provide lower cost and more convenient access and
connectivity between people. GRT’s are different
than conventional transits systems because they allow
for the just in time transport of people.
The transitplaza GRT technology has been
in use in Morgantown WV for 30 years. Utilizing existing
technology proven at Morgantown WV, Transit Plaza is
working with a group in Shanghai to develop a GRT prototype
there as well as enter into agreements with various
partners around the world to engage in similar projects
around the world. In addition, transitplaza’s
technologies augments the existing proven GRT technologies
with several proprietary features that are designed
to reduce energy, construction and operations cost as
well as increase speed, ease of use and the efficiency
of transit flows dramatically.

is TOD. Transitplaza anticipates that most of its earnings
will come from a real estate investment strategy that
will complement the install of GRT systems. Real estates
goes up significantly around mass transit corridors,
as people begin to see the advantages of locating businesses
and residences close to rapid transit stations. Land
value appreciation can be five to ten times greater
than the cost of transit system so the real ROI is in
the surrounding real estate not the transit infrastructure.
