OneVillage.biz Consulting to work with transitplaza to Develop Transit Oriented Development Solutions for the World

 

oneVillage Foundation is currently working with transitplaza to develop, promote and arrange the financing for Group Rapid Transit Systems (GRT). transitplaza holds the rights to develop low cost mass transit systems, with applications throughout the world and the ability to provide lower cost and more convenient access and connectivity between people. GRT’s are different than conventional transits systems because they allow for the just in time transport of people.

The transitplaza GRT technology has been in use in Morgantown WV for 30 years. Utilizing existing technology proven at Morgantown WV, Transit Plaza is working with a group in Shanghai to develop a GRT prototype there as well as enter into agreements with various partners around the world to engage in similar projects around the world. In addition, transitplaza’s technologies augments the existing proven GRT technologies with several proprietary features that are designed to reduce energy, construction and operations cost as well as increase speed, ease of use and the efficiency of transit flows dramatically.

Transit Oriented Development: A Sustainable Model of Development for the 21st Century
transitplaza sees GRT as more than a way to reduce congestion, energy use and pollution, but as a vehicle to promote ecologically and socially sustainable real estate development on a large scale, particularly in rapid growth regions like China.

• Transit Oriented Development (TOD) uses higher density to enable residents and commuters to walk to transit, and to increase opportunities for interaction and community vitality.
• Creating regional economies by developing eco-cities in each region of interest—the transit system and TOD provide a way to create regional “morphic incubators” to spread sustainable development throughout a region

The key profit making strategy of transitplaza is TOD. Transitplaza anticipates that most of its earnings will come from a real estate investment strategy that will complement the install of GRT systems. Real estates goes up significantly around mass transit corridors, as people begin to see the advantages of locating businesses and residences close to rapid transit stations. Land value appreciation can be five to ten times greater than the cost of transit system so the real ROI is in the surrounding real estate not the transit infrastructure.
