Education
Learning is a lifetime process. Sharing knowledge
is a form of empowerment. By teaching and learning
together, we create wealth and promote peace.
Project Name: CatchITYoung
CatchITYoung Information Technology Clubs in
first and second cycle schools in Ghana is
a platform and strategy to ensure youth empowerment,
by developing youth readiness to promote quality and
visible contributions to national development through
the use of ICT tools.
It is the brainchild of oneVillage Foundation-Ghana
and supported by International Young Professionals
Foundation (IYPF)-Ghana, both working under a unified
umbrella, the African Youth Initiative (AYI)
a joint youth effort to address the numerous problems
of our beloved mother Africa through the use of Information
and Communication Technology.

Governance
Transparent communication and information sharing
to enable efficient decision making processes and
effective delivery of social services.
Project Name: AIDS Relief Portal
The core functionality of the website is to facilitate
involvement in, and raise awareness about, HIV/AIDS
relief. There are many amazing organizations working
hard in the war on HIV/AIDS. This site is an IT tool
to help them showcase their efforts and receive the
resources they need, by matching willing donors with
responsible recipients. Potential donors will be able
to easily get involved in various ways, donating time,
money, services and goods, and also stay current with
non-profit organization (NPO) happenings. Through
a real-time tracking system donors can monitor their
donations and the beneficiaries thereof in
other words, follow how much has been given and what
has been done with it. The site presents model projects
that are accountable, transparent and efficient.
Because the solution is totally scalable and web-based,
organizations are able to manage volunteer efforts
and donations in one area, or across several countries
around the world.
The project is committed to local ownership and
leadership, while leveraging a global network of resources.
It recognizes the strength of the human network, facilitating
bottom-up development by on-the-ground NGOs and top-down
support from corporate and private funders.

Economy
Maximize opportunities for individuals to be the
creators and owners of common wealth.
Project Name: Socio-Eco-Tourism
Socio-Eco-Tourism is green tourism with a community
heart. Each tour includes both enthralling experiences
in the natural environment, and a deep introduction
to one or more human communities. The introductions
can be as brief as a one- to three-hour community
presentation of culture, identity, goals, achievements
and needs, or as extensive as an apprenticeship in
traditional art, music or spiritual practices that
lasts for months or years. In between are week-long
drumming workshops, and stays in family homes of one
day to a month in duration.
Socio-Eco-Tourism in Africa holds special meaning
for people of the African diaspora, whether your ancestors
were seized as slaves, or they emigrated as adults.
It creates a relatively inexpensive, organized path
back to your own Roots one that directly and
indirectly, immediately and over the years to come,
strengthens the community you find there.
Socio-Eco-Tourism supports conservation and rural
development by helping to protect valuable natural
areas and generate income for local economies.

Culture & Tradition
We envision a world embracing and healing itself
by returning to its root through the celebration of
indigenous cultural ideas, values and artistic expression.
Project Name: Artists for AIDS Relief
OVF recognizes the importance of art in healing
processes. At OVF, we are examining the healing powers
of painting and of musical expression such as drumming,
songs and dancing, as well as the power of spoken
words through oral and written traditions of poetry
composition and recitation.
OVF validates the healing powers of the forms created
by painters, drummers, dancers, singers, poets and
all other artists. OVF provides support to efforts
of artists engaging in AIDS relief programs and campaigns.
For OVF members, art is an indubitable spiritual component
of human life.
Through oneVillage the world can be enriched immeasurably
by seeing and hearing these artists, and they in turn
can find markets for their work.
Project Name: Building Stupas in Africa
Stupas stand in all of the ancient Buddhist countries
and are unique among sacred architecture. The stupa
is the quintessential symbol of enlightenment, the
primordial sacred structure for all Buddhist traditions.
Building stupas in Africa will help restore the
peace within and bridge the disconnection among people.
It will connect the goodwill of the people of Asia
to Africa, and build a bridge of cultural understanding
for world peace.
