Aderemi Omotade - CEO/Co-Founder Aderemi Omotade received his college education from the Institute of African Arts and Culture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He was one of the Ford Foundation Sponsored students to attend the Ori-Olokun Experimental Art School, trained in African Contemporary Art, Music, Drama, and Dance. He received training through UNESCO at the Training Center for Museum Technicians in Jos, Nigeria in Museum Exhibition Technique and Preservation of Historical Monuments and Building. more...

Adeife Omotade - Director/Co-Founder Adeife recieved her Bathelor of Arts, in West African Area studies, at U.C Berkeley. She later recieved a Master of Arts, and Philosophy at San Francisco State University and also a Master of Fine Arts, Textiles at JFK University inOrinda, CA. Adeife has 25 years of experience in interpersonal communication in the fields of academia, business and administration in Nigeria and the U.S and also as a Counselor. more...

 

Board of Directors

The present Board of Directors has individually given anywhere from ten to twenty years of service to IAAC. They have given guidance and support in implementing policy that has led to progress in achieving our mission of "World Peace through Art." As a group they function as the "Friends of IAAC," fundraising being their main activity, which consists mainly of art exhibitions and sales.

Mrs. Barbara Williams was a facilitator for several contracts for IAAC for performance and educulture workshops in the SF Unified school district until her recent retirement

Mrs. Maryetta Harden has worked steadily for the past ten years to facilitate contracts for IAAC in the community: Educulture Workshops with Sobrante Park Consortium: 215` Century Learning Centers through Oakland Unified School District and IAAC after school arts and crafts
