08.01-30.10 | Central Region of Ghana: OVF Ecotour Field Trip to Ghana

From Aug 1st to Aug 30 OVF’s Joy Tang and 10 National Tsing Hua University students will be traveling to Ghana. The month long trip will include service learning experiences that will include training students at OVF Ghana IT School, visiting Denkirya Kingdom in Jukwa and also enjoying the sandy beaches of Winneba where OVF Ghana’s hub the Winneba Open Digital Village is located.

Prep for the trip which started in October when the 2010 team was recruited including for the trip’s service learning component, selection of students, fund-raising sponsorship events and communications with the OVF Ghana team in the field.
