centered around the development of Unity Centers
Vision: To create a local economy
that is empowered by innovative ICT that enables local
people to make a descent living producing high quality,
high value products.
Rationale: One
of the goals of oneVillage.biz is to promote social
enterprise solutions for underserved communities. One
of the things we will be doing is implement asocial
enterprise concept in Africa to develop the is developing
an E-commerce portal selling products and services from
Africa. Monies raised will go toward expanding capacity
in Africa and building a coordinating Unity Center in
USA (probably located in the Bay Area).
Design: The design of the program
will include addressing both the promotion of products
and the investment in raw materials and tools through
Micro-financing mentioned above.
