African Heartland Ventures involves using travel as
a way to build bridges between different groups of
people. The earth is our home and through our tour
design, we all evolve to be more understanding of
each other, more knowledgeable as life has to offer,
more respectful of the environment for a sustainable
future. Local community centers are places for art
and craft galleries as well production and vo-tech
schools that emphasis practical skills such computer
education courses, sustainable design and welding
and carpentry. These centers will be visited as a
regular part of the eco-tours, a coming together space
where people can share and learn knowledges on eco
living.
One aspect of the tours will involve mobile vans
equipped with workshops to help teach and built sustainable
prototype projects the progress of which will be monitored
by the ICT network. The eco tour is staffed by a core
group and is supplemented with volunteers from academic
and eco-tourism programs. The goal is to have a good
time while serving communities that have immediate
needs.
African Heartland Ventures/Safaris will give the
Academia and non-Academic elites an ability interact
and serve in the grassroots communities of Africa
o Become the model in our everyday actions and work
o Making learnign and teaching a fun and real experience.
o Weaving togethr the sectors of the mandala.
